Easy release powder dissolves quickly and is trusted by professionals for its effectiveness. Nematodes work well in different temperatures and adapt to various weather conditions with ease.
Beneficial nematodes are microscopic worms found in soil that target young stages of pest insects, like larvae, grubs, nymphs, and pupae. These helpful creatures rely on moisture to move around and locate their prey. If it’s too dry, they can’t move well, and if it’s too wet, they might drown or get washed away.

Their life cycle starts when female nematodes lay eggs, which hatch into non-feeding juveniles. These juveniles molt several times until they become hungry infective juveniles. They actively search for hosts, enter them, and release bacteria that kill the pests. Within a few days, the infected insect dies, and the juveniles feed on it. This cycle repeats until conditions change.
When the food is gone, adult nematodes mate, and the females lay eggs, beginning the cycle again. This process repeats as long as the conditions remain suitable.

PRO TIPS / CHEMICAL COMPATIBILITY
PRO TIPS
- Release indoors at any time, or outdoors in the morning, evening, or on a cloudy day. Nematodes are vulnerable to ultraviolet light.
- Water soil before application. Soil surface should be kept moist for two weeks after application. Soil temperature of 44°-86°F is optimal. If soil temperature is higher than 86°F, irrigate with at least 0.1 inch of water before and after application.
- Proper identification of the pest species is important. Monitoring the crop closely and introducing beneficial insects early will help in control pest populations.
- Pesticides, even wetting agents, and spreader-stickers may adversely affect beneficial insects' survival. Broad spectrum and systemic insecticides are toxic.
CHEMICAL COMPATIBILITY
Some chemicals, including pesticides and fertilizers, can harm or even eliminate beneficial nematodes, reducing their effectiveness as natural pest controllers. To protect your nematodes, it’s essential to check chemical compatibility before applying it to your soil.
To make it easier, we’ve created a detailed list of chemicals that work safely with beneficial nematodes, ensuring your garden stays healthy and pest-free!
STORAGE
Once activated, release within 6 hours.
