PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Stop Wormy Apples Before They Start

Codling moth and Oriental fruit moth larvae bore into fruit and damage young shoots, leaving you with unappetizing "wormy" apples, pears, and stone fruit. This dual-pheromone trap targets both moth species at once, luring them to an inescapable sticky surface, before they ever reach your harvest.

Protects apricot, almond, plum, cherry, apple, pear, peach, quince, and English walnut trees.

Product Details

  • Brand: AgBio
  • Pesticide-free & non-toxic
  • Contains 2 traps & 2 pheromone lures
  • Active ingredient: pheromone (E,E)-8,10-Dodecadien-1-ol on a rubber septum lure
  • Effective for up to 60 days

APPLICATION
  1. Grab the top and bottom of the trap and pull apart. Fold the perforated end inward to hold the trap in its three-dimensional shape.
  2. Open the protective packet, remove the lure, and stick it inside the trap.
  3. Hang the trap using a twist-tie through the hole at the top, in an appropriate location. Inspect regularly and remove insects and debris. Replace the trap when the sticky surface becomes covered in debris, dust, or insect scales.
  4. Place traps in early spring, before buds break/trees bloom, for best coverage. Hang 2 traps high in the tree, 2 feet in from the edge of the foliage (1 trap for small or dwarf trees). Maintain a foliage-free space of 12–18 in. around the trap. Don't hang below the foliage canopy or closer than 4 feet to the ground.
  5. Replace the trap and lure every 60 days to maintain full-season coverage.
STORAGE

To prolong lure life, refrigerate or freeze unused lures in their protective packet. Store in a cool, dry place. Do not open until ready to use. Do not contaminate water, food, or feed by storage or disposal.
